 1. The main aim of the Association operation is to represent and to ensure legal rights of the members of the Association and protection of common rights regarding state authorities and other institutions in the Baltic States and abroad.
2. Aim of the Association:
2.1. Coordination and cooperation of the members of the Association is directed towards increasing, development and strengthening of the quality of sanatorium, health resort, recreation and convalescence services.
2.2. Strengthen coordination of the members of the Association for increasing of competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets, decreasing of costs, optimization of prices for services.
2.3. Increasing of efficiency of natural, curative and recreation resources, medical-convalescence places and resorts, illness prevention and society convalescence centers as well as their usage.
2.4. Providing of help to the employees of the members of the Association during training process and increasing of qualification.
2.5. Organization of exchange of experience and implementation of new services.
2.6. Ensuring of informative and consulting services for the members of the Association.
2.7. Cooperation among the members of the Association regarding marketing and distribution of their products.
2.8. Providing of help in organization of the management of SPA service certification, licensing of certain operation types of the members of the Association and attestation of personnel of the members of the Association.
2.9. Providing of help for the members of the Association in construction, reconstruction, and allocation of investors.
2.10. Providing of help to the members of the Association for fulfilling of nature resource usage requirements and nature protection activities.
2.11. Solving of disputable issues and conflicts among the members of the Association.
2.12. Support for the members of the Association for development of new organizational-legal forms, also including participation of foreign countries.
2.13. Organization of necessary scientific-research work which are intended for reaching of the aims of the Association. Participation in development and implementation of programs for resort development, convalescence complexes, sanatoriums and other SPA structures in the Baltic States.
2.14. Ensuring of issuing of newspapers, magazines, brochures and other issues selling operation of the Association.
2.15. Interaction with state authorities and local municipalities regarding issues of Association’s operation regulations, economical support of the Association in various forms.
2.16. Cooperation with institutions of science and other public and private organizations which aims are similar to the aims of the Association.
2.17. Organization of international congresses and seminars with an objective to research organizational and scientific problems of the SPA industry.
2.18. Advertising and public events managed commonly by the members of the Association.
2.20. Charity.
2.21. Entrepreneurship only to the extent it serves for reaching of aims why the Association was founded.
2.22. Other aims which are socially important, directed towards reaching of common benefit.
3. Operation of the Association in the field of providing services to the members of the Association and other organizations, companies, institutions and firms can be accomplished without benefit as well as on the financial grounding. Members of the Association use its services with discounts.
